INSPIRATION

The body remembers.

It carries traces of where we have been—the places, encounters, emotions, and moments that have quietly shaped us. Sometimes, all it takes is returning to a familiar place or entering a moment of stillness for those memories to rise again.

In Full Moon, Mouono explores this intimate relationship between the body, memory, and the self. The figure appears caught in a moment of inward reflection, as though listening to something deeper than thought: the accumulated memory of his own existence.

The work suggests that reconnecting with ourselves does not always require searching for something new. Sometimes, we simply need to stop, listen, and allow the body to lead us back.

Because even when the mind moves on, the body remembers.
