INSPIRATION
Fresh memory drink symbolizes the desire to revive the memories of young Africans so that they can rediscover their identity and their history. It uses the image of a drink that, once ingested, allows one to rediscover revelations and memories linked to one’s roots.
This artwork seeks to awaken the consciousness of those who have lost touch with their past, underlining the importance of knowing one’s origins to move serenely forward into the future. Today, young Africans are beginning to turn to their history to understand better who they are and where they come from, because self-knowledge is essential to know where we’re going.
