INSPIRATION

NEXUS is a powerful declaration of self-assurance and cultural pride. Growing up in Rivers State, Nigeria, I often found myself questioning my identity and sense of confidence. Over time, however, I came to recognize what I carry within me: the legacy of my ancestors, their unapologetic originality, strength, and resilience.

I proudly come from Rivers State, the “Treasure Base of the Nation,” a vibrant meeting point of cultures, traditions, and ethnic identities. This rich heritage has shaped not only who I am, but also how I see and express the world around me.

Through NEXUS, I reintroduce myself—and the richness of my people—to the world with confidence and pride. The work celebrates heritage, resilience, and the unyielding spirit passed from one generation to the next. It is both an affirmation of where I come from and a declaration of who I have become.
