INSPIRATION

This is the first piece of my new series called KONEKTIONS, which explores the five basic human senses that connect us to life and the world around us – sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch.

KONEKTIONS also aims to question the value of our connections with the world (real or virtual) as well as the potential existence of other senses, as hypothesized by scientists (e.g., thermoception – feeling temperatures; nociception – knowing pain; proprioception – knowing where our limbs are – and equilibrioception: maintaining balance).

Intimacy is a visual ode celebrating the deep and respectful relationship between two human beings whose union will give birth to a new one to be cherished.
