Born on June 16, 1999, Oluwole Jayeoba Richard is a Nigerian visual artist born and raised in Lagos, where he continues to live and work. Entirely self-taught, he has been drawing since childhood. What began as simple tracing gradually evolved into a refined and distinctive artistic language. Through dedication, discipline, and relentless practice, he shaped his craft into the remarkable technical level he demonstrates today — and he remains open, always, to learning more.

Working exclusively with graphite and charcoal pencils, Jayeoba creates drawings of astonishing precision. Yet beyond their realism lies something more profound.
