Samantha was strongly recommended to me by an artist (Ngendo) who is also part of the ARTssembly. Upon discovering Samantha’s abstract work, I was immediately seduced by its vibrant, explosive mosaics of colors; it stirred a cocktail of emotions in me. As a more figurative artist, I find that abstraction requires a certain skill to elicit a strong reaction from the public, which Samantha does brilliantly.

So we set up a Zoom meeting during which I learned more about this talented artist, including her long career in the humanitarian sector, her passion for art, and her decision to change course to devote herself to the artist’s life. Indeed, Samantha recently took the plunge as a full-time artist! I do not doubt that her talent, determination, and insight (based on the many pertinent questions she asked me 😊) will enable her to forge a solid artistic career.
