DO YOU OFFER REPRODUCTIONS OF THE ARTWORK AT A LOWER PRICE?
Unfortunately, no. But the good news is that you’re getting a unique mind-crafted and hand-crafted piece you won’t see anywhere except in your home. And hopefully, it will be worth a thousand times more when we are no longer part of this world. Your children or the person you decide to bequeath it to will be rich! On a more serious note, we want to make money through our art but only by offering you something unique that makes you vibrate emotionally and beautifies your environment.
I JUST PLACED AN ORDER, WHAT’S NEXT?
After placing your order, you will receive a first email informing you that your order has been placed and is being processed. Shortly after, you will receive a second email confirming that your order is complete (paid). Lastly, when your art ships within 5 business days, you will receive the last email notification with a tracking number and link to track your delivery.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
SHIPPING IS FREE ON ALL ORDERS WHATEVER THE DESTINATION and all items are shipped via fast delivery service (e.g. UPS, DHL).
FYI: Depending on their sizes, some paintings are shipped stretched on their original wooden frames in custom boxes while others are shipped carefully rolled up in a shipping tube (not stretched on their original wooden frame). This will be indicated on the page of the artwork you are interested in.
Depending on the destination, delivery might take 7 to 20 days.
IS ARTWORK AVAILABLE FRAMED?
Some paintings come with their original wooden frames (inner frame) while others do not (rolled-up canvas). This will be indicated on the page of the artwork you are interested in.
Once you’ve received your artwork (with or without the inner frame), you can have it framed by your local framer (e.g., adding an inner/outer frame) or you can frame it yourself if you’re skilled enough to do so.
DO YOU OFFER INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING?
Yes. International shipping is available for all items and IT IS FREE.
WHAT IF MY PACKAGE WAS LOST?
First of all, let us assure you that we will do everything in our power to prevent that from happening. But if by some misfortune it does happen, please contact us after 30 days from the shipment date for domestic packages and after 60 days from the shipment date for US and International packages. If we determine that your package was lost indeed, then I will give you a full refund. But again, I’ll make sure that such a situation does not happen.
WHAT IF MY ART ARRIVED DAMAGED?
Let’s do it again. First of all, let us assure you that I will take every precaution so that you receive your artwork (our babies) in perfect condition. But if by some misfortune you receive it damaged, please send us photos of the packaging, the artwork, and the packing slip first so that we can confirm the condition of the item together. Then, we will give you a full refund.
*Note that you must first return the damaged item (at your expense) and provide us with the returned parcel tracking number. Once the piece has been safely returned, we will refund your payment within 5 business days.
WHAT IS THE RETURN POLICY?
We want you to be absolutely happy with your purchase. If after receiving your artwork you are not satisfied with it, please contact us at mawuartgallery@gmail.com within 15 days to request a refund.
Once a return has been agreed, you are responsible for packing and arranging return delivery. Once the piece has been safely returned we will refund your payment within 5 days.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU ACCEPT?
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover, as well as payment via PayPal, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. Also, if you live in the Greater Montreal Area (Montreal, Laval, Longueuil, Brossard) and buy one of Mawu’s paintings (the founder), you may pay personally via Square (chip & PIN and contactless card reader) upon delivery of the painting by Mawu himself. Please contact us to make the necessary arrangements.
WHAT ABOUT DUTIES AND CUSTOMS?
Any customs duties, fees, or other related charges are the responsibility of the customer. For information on these duties and fees, including fees that may be incurred by you upon delivery, please check with your local post office or on the Internet.
