INSPIRATION
This piece is part of my ASTRÖ Series, which consists of portraying the twelve astrological signs. In this project, I try to dissociate myself from the traditional symbolism and esotericism associated with astrology.
What a pleasure it was to create this piece! I knew very quickly that this one would be one of my proudest works, especially when I saw the lion’s eyes truly come to life under my brush. In the process of creating this piece, I also discovered a growing penchant for panoramic (horizontal) canvases. My next collection will probably include several of these.
